OUR STORY

Renzo Scalmana is an Italian entrepreneur who has had a great passion for the galvanic industry since his childhood. From a young age he worked closely with his father, who ran a galvanizing company. However, Renzo decided to go his own way and started working on a small chrome tub in his father's garage when he was around 16 years old.

Over the years, Renzo has developed his skills and acquired great experience in the sector. In 1988, he decided to open his own company called Sicrom, which has developed over the years.

OUR SYSTEMS

SICROM consists of two separate offices, with a total surface area of ​​approximately 5000 m².

The offices and mechanical processing are located inside the first of the two locations.

Inside the second headquarters, however, the galvanic processes are carried out, with automatic systems for large series and traditional systems.

CORRECTION

In this department there are machines for single pieces or large series up to 900 ⌀ x 8000 and 10 tons. The department is essential to guarantee the piece the right roughness and to give it a brilliant appearance.

Sicrom stands out for its cutting-edge workshop department, equipped with numerically controlled grinding.

GALVANIC

The presence of an internal chemist in the chrome plating department allows us to check the values ​​of the galvanic baths on a daily basis. This allows us to guarantee a constant deposit with the required hardness. Thanks to this constant control, we can ensure the durability of our products over time, offering a guarantee of quality to our customers. Our in-house chemist is expert in the industry and ensures that all chrome plating processes are carried out correctly, adhering to the highest quality standards.

PRODUCTION LINES

In the first site we are equipped with five lines of chrome plating tanks with a maximum workable length of 6m and 800 ⌀.

In the second site we have three chrome plating systems in series with a maximum workable length of 1.5m.

In the third site we have a series chrome plating plant with a maximum workable length of 2m.

CHEMISTRY

The chrome plating department is followed by one of our internal chemists and laboratories. We can check the values ​​of the galvanic baths on a daily basis, guaranteeing an always constant deposit with the hardness required for a guarantee of durability over time
